Recredentialing success: Audrey Coker

Congratulations to Audrey Coker who successfully recredentialed with the College recently! She demonstrated that she continues to be among the leading pharmacists in mental health in the country.

Audrey Coker is Lead Pharmacist for Clinical Services at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust.

The assessor complimented Audrey on the well-organised, substantial evidence she submitted and congratulated her on obtaining her MSc. Additionally, the assessor noted that they enjoyed reading about Audrey’s work on clozapine and her NMP work.

We asked Audrey what finds most rewarding in her role. She said:  I find my non-medical prescribing, training roles and clinical support to colleagues very rewarding. As a lead pharmacist, I have been involved in supporting the development of digital options including the implementation of EPMA and DMS in our Trust, which has been interesting and rewarding.

When asked what being credentialed by the college meant to her she added: The credentialing process gives me a chance to reflect on my work over the previous five years and assurance the standard of service I provide to colleagues and patients is on par with other colleagues. I am proud of being a member of the College!

Our credentialed members are required to go through recredentialing every five years. Credentialed members are full members of the College and can carry the post-nominals MCMHP.
