Each year the College allocates funding to support the education of pharmacists and technicians working in mental health.
Successful candidates receive up to £500 towards their education. In the past, the bursary has been awarded to support Psych 1 and Psych 2 attendance, and postgraduate certificates, diplomas, MSc degrees or PhDs with a significant focus on mental health. The bursary can be paid directly to you (if you are self-funding) or to your employer.
To qualify for an education bursary you must be:
- a registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician undertaking studies to further your skills and knowledge in mental health
- a current member of the CMHP.
The call for applications is closed. The closing date for 2019 submissions was 28 June.
Please refer to the Education bursary flow chart for information about the process.
