Each year the College allocates funding to support the education of pharmacists and technicians working in mental health.
Successful candidates receive up to £300 towards their education. In the past, the bursary has been awarded to support Psych 1 and Psych 2 attendance, and postgraduate certificates, diplomas, MSc degrees or PhDs with a significant focus on mental health. The bursary can be paid directly to you (if you are self-funding) or to your employer.
To qualify for an education bursary you must be:
- a registered pharmacist or pharmacy technician undertaking studies to further your skills and knowledge in mental health
- a current member of the CMHP.
Applications for the educational bursaries close on 31 July. The call for applications opened on 1 April.
