The 14th Annual International Psychiatric Pharmacy Conference will take place from 11-12 October 2024 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow. We are excited to bring our conference to Scotland and are delighted to receive sponsorship from Glasgow City Council for the civic reception.
Programme
The programme includes keynote lectures, workshops, oral presentations, poster sessions and the memorial lecture.
David Shiers, a retired Doctor, will deliver this year's Memorial Lecture: Your Job is to Become an Expert in Her Medicines. A Conversation with a Carer.
Other presenters include:
- Professor Alison Strath FRPharmS, Chef Pharmaceutical Officer for Scotland
- Professor Alexander Baldacchino, PhD, MD, MPhil, FRCPsych, FRCP, FISAM, Clinical Professor at the University of St Andrews School of Medicine
- Dr Edoardo Ostinelli, Senior Researcher and Honorary Consultant Psychiatrist, University of Oxford and Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
- Mary Doherty, Clinical Associate Professor & Consultant Anaesthesist at Our Lady's Hospital Dublin.

The one day delegate rate includes 1 day conference & day catering. No dinners or accommodation. Specify day when booking.
The Friday night dinner can be booked separately for day delegates. Saturday night accommodation can be added onto your booking for an additional charge. Details provided in the online booking form.

Travel to hotel
The Radisson Blu Hotel is a short walk from Glasgow Central train station.
If travelling by plane, there is an Airport Express bus from Glasgow Airport which takes you to the Waterloo Lane bus stop - approximately 350m from the hotel.
Motel One is also very close to Glasgow Central train station.
