Recredentialing success: Rachel Brown

Congratulations to Rachel Brown who has recently recredentialed with the College.

Rachel is Clinical Lead Pharmacist for CAMHS, Medicines Advice and Clinical Effectiveness at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

When reviewing Rachel’s portfolio, Assistant Registrar Ciara Ni Dhubhlaing complimented her expertise: “Rachel’s work founding and developing the Trust Medicines Information service and extensive contributions to academic writing were most impressive. The evidence she presented demonstrates that she continues to be one of the UK’s leading pharmacists in mental health.”

Rachel has also presented sessions for our CMHP education courses Psych 1 and Psych 2, covering topics on anxiety, and pharmacotherapy in child and adolescent psychiatry. She has been a credentialed member of the CMHP since 2009.

Our credentialed members are required to go through recredentialing every five years to demonstrate their continuing expertise in the field of mental health pharmacy.

Credentialed members are full members of the College and can carry the post-nominals MCMHP.

For more information about credentialing with the College please see the Credentialing web pages.
