Recredentialing success: Graham Newton and Sarah Brennan

Congratulations to Graham Newton and Sarah Brennan who have recently recredentialed with the College.

Graham is a Principal Clinical Pharmacist at North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. He is particularly congratulated on qualifying as a non-medical prescriber and the development of this role, which is clearly having an impact on patient care.

Sarah Brennan is Lead Pharmacist SSD at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. She was commended for her work on STOMP (stopping the over-medication of people with a learning disability, autism or both). When asked about what she finds rewarding in her role she said: “rising to the challenge of developing and extending our CAMHS and Perinatal service, and working with a wide range of healthcare professionals who work with people with intellectual disabilities with challenging behaviours, to encourage medication review.”

Our credentialed members are required to go through recredentialing every five years to demonstrate their continuing expertise in the field of mental health pharmacy.

Credentialed members are full members of the College and can carry the post-nominals MCMHP.
