Recredentialing success: Amanda Kelso

Congratulations to Amanda Kelso who successfully recredentialed with the College recently.

Amanda is Lead Pharmacist at the Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

In the assessment of her portfolio, her continued involvement with the Aston Diploma, in addition to her new substantive role were worthy of a special mention.

When asked what she appreciates about her role, Amanda commented:

“I am passionate about mental health pharmacy and find it so rewarding to mentor and support other pharmacists to become excellent mental health pharmacists. I also enjoy the challenge of providing comprehensive medicines related clinical advise to psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure excellent patient care.”

She was also invited to reflect on what being credentialed means to her. She said:

“Being credentialled by CMHP assures me that my clinical work is of a high standard, as it has been reviewed and assessed by my peers. I am proud to remain a credentialed member of the CMHP!”

Our credentialed members are required to go through recredentialing every five years. Credentialed members are full members of the College and can carry the post-nominals MCMHP.
