Re-credentialling success

We are delighted to announce that after demonstration of her high standards of clinical practice in mental health, Jennifer Southern has been successful in her application for re-credentialling to the College of Mental Health Pharmacy and will continue to be a fully credentialled member of the college until the end of July 2020.

Jennifer is a Senior Clinical Pharmacist based at the Bowmere Hospital, Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

Full (credentialled) membership is available to pharmacists who have attained an expert level of working, as demonstrated by active experience in five years of psychiatric pharmacy practice, or in three years plus a relevant postgraduate qualification (as outlined on the credentialling pages).

To take a quote from a leading mental health pharmacist “being credentialled gives me confidence to make difficult decisions, when I give advice I can feel the credentialling panel nodding in agreement with me”

To be re-credentialled, members must show evidence of continuing professional development and reflective practice. Further details are on the re-credentialling page.
