Recredentialing success: Sonia Ramdour

Congratulations to Dr Sonia Ramdour who has recently recredentialed with the College.

Sonia is Chief Pharmacist and Controlled Drugs Accountable Officer at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust.  She has been in this role for just over 12 months.

When asked about her work, Sonia says: “It is always rewarding to receive positive feedback from staff and patients demonstrating how much they value the pharmacy service.  I am also excited about the introduction of new and extended roles within the team as we progress business cases for advanced non-medical prescribers, pharmacy technicians in community teams and ward-based pharmacy assistants.”

Our credentialed members are required to go through recredentialing every five years to demonstrate their continuing expertise in the field of mental health pharmacy.

When reviewing Sonia’s portfolio, Assistant Registrar Ciara Ni Dhubhlaing complimented her work: “Sonia’s research to increase knowledge of factors affecting antipsychotic adherence in young people, and her desire to improve the quality of care for patients through expansion of Pharmacist roles is most impressive.”

Sonia has been a credentialed member of the CMHP since 2002. She says that she has always valued this peer recognition of standards of professional practice.

Credentialed members are full members of the College and can carry the post-nominals MCMHP.
