The College of Mental Health Pharmacy (CMHP) is delighted to announce that Nicola Greenhalgh is the new President of the CMHP.
Nicola is the deputy chief pharmacist at Essex University Partnership NHS Foundation Trust having managed a specialist mental health Medicines Information service for over 5 years and been the lead mental health pharmacist in North East London.
Nicola first joined the CMHP Council in 2021, supporting the Education team. Nicola takes over from Karen Shuker, who continues to serve on the CMHP
Council as Immediate Past President.
Nicola says:
“It is an honour to take over from Karen as President who has driven forward the status of mental health pharmacy with the development of the joint specialist advanced credentialing with the RPS. Now it comes to us to drive forward the future of pharmacy leadership at a critical time for specialist interest professional bodies such as the CMHP as we look to what the road ahead may bring.”
The College is also very happy to announce that Katie Evans has been appointed as Vice President.
