The assessor of Jennifer’s recredentialling submission was particularly impressed with her in reach work in to the acute Trust. She was also congratulated on her extremely interesting MSc work, for which she has since been awarded a distinction.

When asked about her role, Jennifer said:

“The most rewarding part of my role is  sharing my passion for mental health pharmacy to make a difference to individuals.  This can be directly through spending time with someone to optimise their medicines or by educating others about mental health medicines and the importance of communicating effectively (using your eyes and your ears!) with the people receiving them. Completing my research project through interviewing people allowed me to improve my communication skills in a different and enlightening way to clinical practice.”

When asked what being credentialed means to him, Ian said:

“Being credentialed is a privilege and recognition of keeping to a high standard of practice. I realise that all credentialed members are an ongoing example of the desire to retain high standards to provide the best and safest care of the many people we oversee and care for.”

Our credentialed members are required to go through recredentialing every five years. Credentialed members are full members of the College and can carry the post-nominals MCMHP.
