Oral presentations and posters

Showcase your work! Applications are invited for oral presentations and posters at this year's conference. Please use the application form and guidance notes:

This is a fantastic opportunity to tell us about the excellent work you have been doing.

Nikki Holmes, CMHP President, encourages you to apply. She says:

We never fail to be impressed by the standard of entries and work that is occurring, despite all the other challenges that everyone is facing on a daily basis. Also, CMHP conference is an extremely supportive environment to present in - I'd definitely encourage anyone with even fleeting thoughts of submitting something to give it a go.

Closing date extended!

The closing date has been extended by one week to:  17:00 on 30th June 2017 so get your thinking caps on now if you haven't already!

Please be aware that call for the undergraduate pharmacist, pre-registration pharmacist, and pharmacy technician research awards will be coming out soon. Work can be submitted for both these awards and for the oral presentations/posters at conference however if the work is successful in one of the research award categories, it will no longer be eligible to be accepted as an oral presentation/poster for judging at conference.

If anyone has any questions or requires further information, please contact Nikki Holmes at nikki.holmes3@nhs.net.

Criteria for assessment

When preparing your poster, you may find it helpful to review the marking pro forma against which it will be assessed:

Please note that oral presentation abstracts are not marked prior to conference. They are marked during the oral presentations themselves at conference.

Guidance for poster preparation

If you have not previously created an academic poster then you might find the following resources useful springboards for getting you started. You could also talk to colleagues who might have done this in the past or may even have some examples for you to look at.
